Petra & Brian's Brooklyn Wedding Movie Trailer

Petra and Brian choose a most unique place for their wedding, a  famous revolutionary war 1699 Dutch farmhouse nestled right in the heart of  Brooklyn, the Old Stone House. As hundreds of children and their families played, and enjoyed the beautiful sunny day in the park surrounding the Old Stone House, Petra and Brian exchanged vows amongst family and friends under the old trees on the grounds of this historic house.

We wish Petra and Brian a lifetime of happiness and love together!

Bhavani and Timur's Engagement
0001_BT_DSC_9848.jpg

Monday evening I met with Bhavani and Timur to capture images for their engagement. We met in a neighborhood called Vinegar Hill in Brooklyn, NY. Vinegar Hill is an amazing little area that hasn't changed much in over 100 years. Original storefronts line up along  cobblestone streets which give this place a real old-time, vintage vibe. This was a special place for both Bhavani and Timur as it was the location in which they first met. Timur, also being a professional image-maker, brought along his Fuji X100 to grab some shots of Bhavani as I grabbed shots of them both. It is clear in these pictures that not only are Bhavani and Timur fun and playful, but their love for one another is true and genuine and that they were meant to be together. We wish Bhavani and Timur a long and happy life together! Can't wait for the wedding!

FAQ: Can I Have The Raw Files?

Can I have the raw files? No. The raw files, whether it be photographic camera raw files or the raw unedited video footage are merely the building blocks from which I work to create your final product. When you hire me you are hiring me to not only capture your day but to professionally edit the images and / or movies to create a truly one of a kind product.

What Is An Engagement Photography Session?
0004_PB__DSC6514.jpg

"What is an engagement photography session anyway" , you may ask. Well an engagement photography session is really just an informal photography session for newly engaged couples. It's not intended to be a photo shoot at the actually time of engagement, no real surprise in that, nor is it intended to be a documentary of an engagement party you and your fiancé may plan to have.

An engagement photography session can provide many benefits to the newly engaged couple including:

Opportunity for professionally crafted informal portraits of you and your fiancé

Include professionally crafted photographs for "Save the Date" and Wedding Invitations

Display prints of your photos at your wedding reception as decorations

Share with friends and family

A photographic record of this special time in your life that you and your family will cherish for decades to come

An opportunity to establish a working relationship with your wedding day photographer

A super fun activity to share with your fiancé, what can be better than being the stars of a professional photo shoot!

If you have never been the subject of a professional photo shoot no need to worry! Steve takes a very casual and fun approach to his photography, and will make sure your session remains stress free. Really, all of our clients come away having had a great time and remarkable photos they never expected to be possible. We let our pictures speak for themselves.

We also offer Engagement Videos, same principle as the photography but a video instead.

There is no better time than the present, so give us a call and schedule an appointment.

Myriame & Friday's Wedding Engagement!
0003_MF__DSC2895.jpg

A few weeks ago I had the great pleasure of photographing Myriame & Friday for their wedding engagement. The photo shoot took place in Branch Brook Park, Newark, NJ and the weather couldn't have been any better. We were a bit worried about the weather at first as the day previously was pouring buckets and more rain was on the forecast for our shoot, thank goodness the weather man is not always right! Haha.

Myriame & Friday brought along a few props for the shoot, a guitar, camera, and travel bag, in addition to a change of clothes, which really added value to the overall look and feel of the shoot. By looking at the pictures you would think we were out there all day, but in fact we spent less than two hours, two hours well spent I must say!

The love Myriame and Friday share for one another clearly shines through in these photos, don't you think?

We wish Myriame & Friday a long and wonderful life together! Cant wait till the big day!
